Sakura Tattoo

This is the second version of Michelle's tattoo, but is still enhanced to show cherry blossoms leaping off the back.

Unknowingly this became one of my most popular images, my friend Michelle asked me to take the image of new tattoo and do something with it. The original image quality made the work even more challenging.

I began by removing a lot of the rgb noise and softening things up a bit, then I added some artificial light which enhanced curves of the body. The next challenge was cutting out the tattoo and enhancing without losing detail, so I decided to cut out and make it pop out as if 3D. Lastly, cut some of the pedals to make them appear like they are peeling off the back and blowing in the wind.
