Here is a throwback to 1986's The Legend of Zelda; this is inspired from the game art included in the owners manual. There was a time when video games actually had real art inside the manual to illustrate various parts of the game... sadly this is something rarely done these days.

I agree about the art in teh booklets, it's one of the reasons I love the NES so much. These days it has to be as little paper and effort as possible with the booklets and stuff. I really love these series if yours.
